One of the philosophies I’ve had in life is that change is the only constant.  This proverb was inspired with the influx of changes this month – competing in speech contests, my birthday celebrations, the passing away of a friend, etc.

It brings to the fore the fragility of life.  Have you done and said the things that matter most to you?

Following my touching sharing of People live and L.O.V.E., I will be sharing on the firm and passionate humanitarian tomorrow evening!

This is my first time telling a historical tale.  Not just a telling of history, but to make it come alive, which is true of the theme of this series, Stories-Alive!

Been there, done that!  First runner up in round 2, International Speeches Contest!

After winning the first round of the International Speeches Contest, I came in a close second in the tough second round!!!

Exaltations!!!  It was a tremendous learning experience, and I had a whale of a time!  Waiting till the very last of the last of all contestants to speak was indeed nerve wrecking!  I took a risk in trying out something new, and I won!  I simply loved how my audience reacted!

Shan is in round 2 of the International Speeches Contest!

My beloved friends,

With the sweet success of championing the first round of the International Speeches Contest, I am on to the second stage!  It feels like I am playing a computer game with different stages to clear!  All in all, there are 6 stages to clear to the World Champion Speaker title!

Round 2 or 3 will most likely be my last play at the International Speeches Contest due to personal commitments.

Open your minds and lend me your hearts, bodies and souls as I transport you to a different realm, MY realm.  Are you game enough?

I am a WINNER in my first time ever in the International Speeches Contest!

I took part in the International Speeches and Table Topics Contest and won the International Speeches Contest!!!

Jubilations!!!  I literally jumped and was on a high ever since!

I’ll like to thank all my wonderful and encouraging supporters, especially to Hua and Gary!!!  Thank you for your physical presence, which gave me added strength and charisma!  Thank you for your uplifting words of encouragement which gave me added motivation to speak better and better!  Without all of you, I would not be where I am today.
