Free Positive Psychology series: Shanshine’s ka-ching! and Ha ha ha!!!

My beloved friends,

Shanshine’s M&Ms of playfulness was unanimously an award-winning inspirational! In my next talk on Shanshine’s ka-ching! and Ha ha ha!!!, ka-ching! is the sound of money, and Ha ha ha!!!, the sound of happiness! In this affluent consumer age, is money really the ultimate determinant of happiness? Can we create happiness with or without money? I will address these questions and share the secret of having BOTH money and happiness!

I invite you to the seventh of my Positive Psychology series tomorrow afternoon in Singapore. Details as follows:

  • Topic: Shanshine’s ka-ching! and Ha ha ha!!!
  • Venue: Grassroots Toastmasters Club, Grassroots Club, Singapore
  • Date: 3 May 2008
  • Time: 2-5pm

I look forward to seeing you there!

With love,
Pei Shan

Why Laughter Yoga, and not just plain laughing (if laughter could ever be plain)?  [Read more →]

Words of wisdom: Service with a silent smile

Silence is golden.  Silence, with a smile, is platinum - Yip Pei Shan

This proverb was inspired by Juhairil, the waiter at Delifrance, Junction 8, who swept the women off their feet with his Mona Lisa smile and meticulous service.

Service with a silent smile indeed.  I salute you!

Blogs are now an increasingly simple and easy method of obtaining information up close and personal! That, indeed, makes me tingle with happiness!

On the theme of happiness, I had the privilege of being at the Simply Happy conference (with the compliments of John, Philip and Normala. Thank you!) organised in Singapore by Philip’s Global Leadership Academy. It was a conference with a mitochondria of knowledge-infused speakers! It was indeed a power-packed two days of sharing ideas and research in this field of Psychology.

It was an impressive start with Marty Seligman’s keynote speech on “Positive Psychology: The pursuit of happiness at work, at school, and at home”. [Read more →]
